Sharpe, a senior, plays midfielder for the Poway lacrosse team. He also stars for the football team as a defensive back and a punt returner. Sharpe earned All-CIF Second Team honors for lacrosse last season.
Bryant University, a NCAA Division I school, finished the season with a No. 19 ranking and a 14-4 record last year. The school went 4-1 in the Northeast Conference, winning the NEC Tournament Championships for the first time in school history.
