WASHINGTON (WUSA) ? Breast cancer survivors, friends, and even members of the Washington Redskins joined D.C. area anchorwomen, and anchormen for the annual Newsbabes Bash for Breast Cancer on Tuesday night.
The night was emotional, and powerful for all who came together to help raise awareness for the second leading cause of cancer death in women, breast cancer. The crowd, which could be described as a sea of pink, was energetic and full of excitement at the newly opened Howard Theatre located at 620 T Street in Washington, D.C.
